The First-Eidsvold Parish
First Lutheran Church of Karlstad and Eidsvold Lutheran Church of Halma

The Little Lutheran is a magazine for children aged 6 and under and is designed to help parents and congregations nurture our youngest members in the faith.  It helps children develop a relationship with God, who loves them dearly, and with Jesus as their savior and friend.  This colorful and sturdy magazine will arrive in the child's name ten times a year packed with art, stories, songs, prayers, activities, and more.  The Little Lutheran makes a good gift from grandparents, godparents, parents, aunts, uncles, and others to the children in their lives.  Visit www.thelittlelutheran.org for information on how you can order.

www.elca.org/evangelism/dailydiscipleship has a weekly Bible study for small groups or individuals to use to study the Lutheran liturgical texts for the week.

www.elca.org/spiritual.html. is the ELCA page where you will find daily devotions, daily Bible readings, and an invitation to prayer.  You may also subscribe there to a daily devotion which will be sent to you by e-mail each day.  This is also a site where you will find many resources on the beliefs and teachings of the Lutheran Church.

www.elca.org/prayer is the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America's website devoted to prayer.  When you visit this site you can request confidential prayer for any concern, read a daily devotion, as well as find prayers for healing and other occasions.  There is also a form for becoming a prayer partner so you can pray for prayer requests that come to the site.
