Flowers on the altar at Eidsvold this morning are given in loving memory of our mother, Alice Holm, in remembrance of the 14th year since her passing on February 5, 1998 by Francine, Douglas, and Orvis.

Quilting days at First for February are Monday and Tuesday.  Anyone is welcome to help with this mission project of the WELCA.  In church today there is a basket for those who wish to help by giving a donation.

Next Sunday the Sunday School children will be singing at First’s worship.  Please come by and meet downstairs to warm up and get ready.

Next Sunday The New Orleans bound youth will be serving a breakfast of baked French toast, sausage, juice and coffee after worship at First.  Your donation will help them attend the 2012 national youth gathering.

The Karlstad Lions will be hosting a blood drive sponsored by United Blood Services of the Red River Valley on Monday, February 13 from until at First Lutheran Church.  Appointments may be made by calling Wayne Ruud or Gary Cook.

We pray for Carol Britten, Margie Olson, Brian Renstrom,  Pastor Don Peterson, Jamie Westling

Our sympathy and prayers for Kathy Britten and all the family of Morris Anderson who passed away Thursday morning.  His funeral will be Monday at at the Karlstad Gospel Tabernacle Church.  Visitation is from to today (Sunday) also at the church with a prayer service.
