The Moose Country Garden Club is sponsoring a benefit for newborn Gage Michael Clark on Friday at 7:00 at the Karlstad Community Center featuring “The Heartthrobs” singing.  Root beer and orange floats will be served.  All donations are to help this child’s family.

The Karlstad Area Ministerial Association is sponsoring a city-wide Moose Fest worship service on Sunday, August 15, at 10:30 a.m. at the air-conditioned Tri-County small gym.  No services in local church buildings that day.

Congratulations to Larry and Lori Bothum who are celebrating their 40^th wedding anniversary today at the Karlstad Golf Club.

Congratulations to Bertha Turnwall who celebrated her 105^th birthday on Friday at the Karlstad Healthcare Center.
